The Alexander Art Nouveau Suites is a beautiful luxury B&B in Noto, in the province of Syracuse, Sicily.We are located in the splendid capital of the Baroque, whose historic center is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be welcomed in a historic residence of the late nineteenth century that combines the Neoclassical style with the first examples of art nouveau. The building has been carefully restored by the owners who have kept the original architecture intact and have reused local materials to restore its former glory to the house. The house was built by a senior officer of the Royal Army, whose wife Carmela was the daughter of Prince Ottavio Nicolaci di Viladorata. Today the house belongs to Donna Maria Francesca Nicolaci, daughter of the last Prince of Villadorata. The B&B is located in an excellent position for visiting the historic center of Noto, the Duomo, the Church of SS. Salvatore, the Town Hall and the Vittorio Emanuele Municipal Theater. A few steps away is Via Nicolaci, where the Infiorata takes place every year. From the house you will enjoy a splendid sea view over the Gulf of Noto and you will be surrounded by the greenery of a 1200 sqm garden.From Noto you can reach other wonderful Sicilian cities including Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and Syracuse.At the Alexander Art Nouveau Suites B&B each room overflows with history and love.The Renè Jules Lalique Deluxe double room is dedicated to the famous artist, with decorated bronze double bed and Murano glass chandeliers.The room overlooks the Arabian garden and the sea.
